The 69th F.O.P. State Conference will be held in Bay City at the Doubletree Hotel. The dates of the conference are Friday, June 20 through Sunday, June 22, 2008. We will be initiating some of the new changes to our State Conference format. The Conference will start on Friday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m. with our Opening Ceremony and Memorial Service. Approximately one-half hour after the conclusion of this event, the First Business Session will begin. Because previous commitments were made with the hotel, there will be a Friday dinner and Sunday Banquet, however, there will be no business meeting on Monday.
Bay City will again be hosting River Roar the same weekend as our Conference. Everyone will be able to enjoy the boat races on Saturday and Sunday. We are also planning a boat cruise tentatively scheduled for Saturday night.
Information packets and registration forms will be sent to local lodges the last week of March, 2008. Listed below is a tentative Schedule of Events for your information. We’re looking forward to another great conference and hope that each lodge will be represented.
