The Fraternal Order of Police continues to work with the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) to find dedicated funding that will get MCOLES out of the State's General Fund and create enough revenue to all implementation of standardized in-service training.

Attached you will find the Legislative Report prepared by Muchmore Harrington Smalley and Associates for the State Lodge. As you can see it is twenty pages long and contains the legislation that has been introduced, this session, that affects law Enforcement and Public Safety.

Also attached is the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police Primary Report. This is a list of up to date legislation pulled from the Legislative Tracking Report listed above.   These pieces of legislation have the most impact on collective bargaining and working conditions.
