FIELD INVESTIGATOR FOR BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD OF MICHIGAN
 

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan, is seeking a Field Investigator with a strong law enforcement background in white collar fraud and financial investigations to join our Southeast Investigations Unit.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of legal and investigative procedures used in the detection and investigation of potential fraudulent cases.  A detailed understanding of the State and Federal judicial process relating to fraud prosecutions is essential. This position requires knowledge of financial investigative techniques and investigative report writing.

A Bachelors degree in criminal justice or accounting is preferred.  In addition, five years of criminal investigative experience is required.  If degreed other than above, five years extensive fraud investigative experience in white collar or economic crime is required.  If lacking a degree, two additional years of law enforcement experience will be necessary as equivalent for each year of college not completed. Candidates must demonstrate proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities and be capable of conducting extensive field investigation activities.
